A former solicitor, Helen brings a valuable combination of legal training and communications expertise to her work. She began her career at leading London law firm Payne Hicks Beach before moving into legal PR, including an in-house role at global firm DLA Piper, where she led communications for the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory group and worked with practice groups across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Since then, Helen has advised dozens of law firms, ranging from specialist and award-winning boutiques to major international and top US firms.

Helen has particular expertise in disputes, litigation and arbitration communications. Her legal background gives her a strong understanding of the sensitivities, reputational considerations and media opportunities surrounding contentious matters, enabling her to work closely and confidently with partners on complex and high-profile issues.

She specialises in developing and delivering targeted media strategies that build the profiles of firms and individual lawyers across the legal, business, sector-specific and national media.
