Helen Scott joins the MD Communications team as International PR Director
We are delighted to welcome Helen Scott to the team as our new International PR Director.
Helen brings a rare combination of legal training and communications expertise. A former solicitor, she began her career at Payne Hicks Beach before moving into legal PR, including an in-house role at DLA Piper leading communications for the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory group across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
Since then, Helen has advised dozens of law firms, ranging from specialist and award-winning boutiques to major international and top US firms. She has particular expertise in disputes, litigation, and arbitration, delivering targeted media strategies that build the profiles of firms and individual lawyers across the legal, business, and national media.

What’s next for our international offering
Helen joins at a particularly exciting time for the company, as we build out our international capability ahead of the launch of our International Advisory Board this autumn. The IBA Annual Conference in Copenhagen follows next month, where the MD Communications team will be meeting clients and contacts from across the global legal market.
Our CEO Melissa Davis, Head of International Growth Linsay Leslie, and Global Marketing Director James Hayhurst will be there from 4th to 9th October.
