We are delighted that our new thought leadership report, Human in the Loop, has been featured in the media.

The Global Legal Post covered our white paper following its launch at the International Bar Association annual conference in Copenhagen. The article describes how our research reveals “the increasing value of human insight and relationship-building”, even as the work of junior lawyers becomes increasingly automated. CEO Melissa Davis is quoted,  describing how AI has “delighted and disconcerted legal services in equal measure”. The article notes that the profession is embracing the efficiency and cost-saving benefits of AI but struggling to reconcile them with the impact on business development, particularly for junior lawyers.

Christine Braamskamp, London managing partner at Jenner & Block, is also quoted, emphasising the importance of supporting younger lawyers as they develop relationships in new ways: “I think younger lawyers build relationships differently, and tech has something to do with that. Rather than fighting the differences, we need to empower them”.

The piece also features quotes from Anne Macdonald, partner and head of business development at Harper Macleod, and Lesley O’Leary, chief operating officer at Charles Russell Speechlys, whilst also referencing the paper’s foreword by Anna Dąbrowska, M&A partner at Wolf Theiss.

Thank you to Ben Rigby and Madeline Anderson for the coverage.
